Dr. Sara Frye is a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist. She received her bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD at the University of Arizona. She also completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center where she specialized in pediatric neuropsychology, autism spectrum disorder, and behavioral sleep medicine.
She is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies. Her research focuses on the neurocognitive, behavioral, and educational functioning of youth with neurodevelopmental conditions and chronic illnesses, and the influence of sleep and sleep disorders on the behavior and functioning of medically and non-medically involved youth.
Dr. Frye has also practiced in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and schools. She was the Director of Pediatrics at a group practice before opening her own private practice, Frye Psychological Services, which specializes in providing comprehensive pediatric and adult neuropsychological evaluations with a focus on neurodevelopmental conditions. She aims to translate research findings into evidence-based practices to best meet the needs of clients.
On a personal note, Dr. Frye is an Arizona native. She currently lives in Marana with her spouse, two children, and dog.
