Jill Koyama receives Lydia Kennedy UAHS LGBTQ+ Distinguished Leadership Award

Congratulations to Institute for LGBT Studies Director Jill Koyama on receiving the Lydia Kennedy UAHS LGBTQ+ Distinguished Leadership Award!

This award is given to a leader who has demonstrated a strong commitment to building a safe, inclusive, and equitable campus for LGBTQ+ faculty, staff, residents, fellows, students and patients. As a result of her efforts, Koyama cultivates high-quality, inclusive health care for the LGBTQ+ community.

In addition to her role as director of ILGBTS, Koyama serves the college as director of the Educational Leadership program and professor in the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Sociocultural Studies.
