Coursework

A total of 63 credits is required for the Educational Leadership, Ed.D., program.

Required core coursework (24 credits)
7 courses addressing educational leadership and research issues based on PSEL standards

Research methods (9 credits)
3 credits quantitative, 3 credits qualitative, and 3 credits of an advanced quantitative or qualitative or methodology course

Dissertation (18 credits)
Credits of dissertation (taken after completing the comprehensive exam)

Minor (12-15 credits)
Coursework outside of EDL that will complement your major, 12-15 credits , depending on the requirements of the minor advisor.
